Once upon a time, I had the incredible opportunity to second shoot with one of my best friends in the world, Laura of Laura Leslie Photography, in Luxembourg & in Belgium.   Mariella & Martin are the perfect couple.  This is a peek into the day of the civil ceremony, that was followed up the next day by a more traditional wedding day.

They showed us around this side of Europe that neither of us had ever had an opportunity to explore (layover’s in a country doesn’t mean you get to check it off your bucket list, does it?:).  Luxembourg was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.  So rich in history and beauty.  The entire city was dripping in romance and the feel of ancient love.

There is an upper city and a lower city in Luxembourg.  We took advantage of the magic of both parts of the city to photograph in.  Completely wonderful.  So beautiful.

On this day, we attended & photographed the civil ceremony for their nuptials in the town square area of Luxembourg.  After the ceremony was complete, we walked, literally, all over this city.  It was completely mesmerizing and we were all enthralled with the exquisite charm.  I really hope that you guys can experience even just a little of the magic through these images. 

Luxembourg is the perfect destination wedding location if you’re looking for charm & beauty.  This was the perfect location for Martin & Mariella to declare their love to one another.  The day after, they completed their wedding plans with an amazing wedding, with friends and family from all over the globe, in an 18th century chateau.  Chateau de Ruisbroek
