A Flower-Filled Senior Session at the McGarity House
This senior session McGarity House was everything you’d hope for from a classic southern summer evening: soft light, bold blooms, and a girl who knows how to work the camera with sweetness and soul. Addison, Class of 2025, glowed in every frame. We captured her senior session at one of my favorite hidden gems — The McGarity House in Temple, Georgia, a family-owned wedding venue with acres of micro gardens tucked between hydrangeas, zinnias, open pasture, and even a tiny vineyard.
I’ve had the honor of photographing Addison since she was barely out of preschool — watching her grow up in front of my lens has been one of the best long-term client experiences I’ve had. Her mama was there every step of the way, just like she always has been, beaming with pride as her girl stepped into each frame.
We chose the gardens at The McGarrity House for this senior session because it perfectly matched Addison’s effortless cottagecore meets flower child aesthetic. Barefoot in the zinnia fields. White corset dress surrounded by hydrangeas. A butterfly landing mid-shot — it all just worked.
